TRLab and the Chris Burden Estate aim to fulfill what Burden could not during his lifetime: the completion of his magnum opus, Xanadu, free from the limitations like time, space, funding, and building permission that he encountered throughout his career.

Your Daytime Fireworks
For decades, contemporary artist Cai Guo-Qiang has been internationally acclaimed for his creative use of gunpowder. As Cai's third NFT, Your Daytime Fireworks invites NFT players to embark on a magical journey to explore and participate in Cai's world of daytime fireworks. Deeply interactive, the project invites collectors to set off their own virtual daytime fireworks, encouraging players to follow in the footsteps of the artist as they feel the uncertainty as well as the unexpected joy Cai experienced when he set off fireworks in different regions and under different weather conditions across the globe.
David Ariew x Tatler China: The Philanthropic Journey of an NFT Artwork
This collaboration marks a milestone: when a still image from David Ariew’s digital artwork Fractal Monarch appears on the cover of Tatler China, it will be the first NFT to do so on a Chinese magazine. TRLab is honored to launch the digital component of this project.

Transient Eternity—101 Ignitions of Gunpowder Paintings
TRLab is pleased to introduce the first NFT work by internationally-acclaimed artist Cai Guo-Qiang. The project explores questions surrounding the transience and eternity of the digital age, with his NFTs as the existence of the explosion moment itself—not the videos or photographs with which the instant of ignition was preserved in the traditional sense, or the physical gunpowder painting that was born from the ignition.
