Enchanted Forest Clear Borosilicate Glass Drinkware

A fox suspended mid-air inside clear borosilicate. An owl that materializes only once water is poured. A rocking horse sealed beneath a green conical roof, surrounded by a dusting of white as though a miniature snowstorm just passed. These are borosilicate glass vessels that contain small, fully three-dimensional figurines — woodland animals, festive characters, birds perched on berry-laden branches — fused directly to the interior base or integrated into sculptural handles and lids. The glass body is cylindrical and thin-walled, optically clear, functioning as both drinking vessel and display vitrine. When liquid fills the cup, the refractive index of water and glass stack together, enlarging and animating the figurine inside. The effect is not a print, not a decal — it is solid glass, fired at high temperature, color integral to the material. The Woodland Tales collection pairs fox, owl, snail, and deer figures with tumbler-style cups and a handled pitcher whose handle is a bent green branch crowned with holly leaves and red berries. The Schiaccianoci collection shifts into festive tableau: a nutcracker soldier extends from the cup wall as a full-relief handle, a rocking horse sits inside a lidded jar under a pointed green roof topped with a single red bead, the whole thing arranged like a snow-globe without the liquid. Each object occupies the uncanny boundary between functional drinkware and collectible sculpture — the kind of thing that earns a permanent position on a shelf even when the cabinet is otherwise ruthlessly edited.
