Canopy Perch Clear Glass Glassware Collection

A glassware collection that operates somewhere between aviary and still life. Each piece is a clear borosilicate vessel — drinking glass, pitcher, lidded jar, or sculptural bottle — with a miniature bird or tree figure fused directly into the glass body: a green-and-red hummingbird perched inside a tumbler, a red-crested blue parrot gripping the rim of a handled mug, an amber-branched tree crowned with cloud-puff green canopy rising from a jar lid. The bird figures — hummingbird, parrot, pink cockatoo, blue bird, violet cockatiel — are rendered in saturated, non-dyed color glass fired at high temperature, so the pigment is structural rather than applied. When liquid fills the vessel, the water and glass stack to magnify and refract the figure, animating it. The tree bottle is its own category: a ribbed clear column that widens at the base, with green lobed foliage clusters branching off an amber trunk — equal parts vase, decanter, and small sculpture. Sold as individual pieces or as a grouped collection, the set brings the logic of a naturalist's cabinet to the table.
