Earth Fragment Mottled Fiber-Look Serving Tray

A serving tray that refuses to behave like one. Pressed from molded composite fiber, this shallow tray carries the surface memory of something excavated rather than manufactured — a mottled skin of warm ash-grey and pale cream drifting across its face in continent-shaped patches, each one unrepeated. The circular variant presents a clean orbital rim enclosing that eroded interior landscape; the irregular variant pushes further, its outline buckling into a soft, almost geological silhouette with one deliberate notch cut from the edge. Under raking natural light the fiber grain rises to the surface, catching shadow in the low ridges and releasing it across the pale passages in a way that makes the object look older than it is — or younger than stone, which amounts to the same thing. Place an espresso cup inside it and the tray becomes a stage. Place nothing inside it and it becomes a specimen.
