Greenhouse Study Clear Borosilicate Glass Mug

A sculptural proposition dressed as a mug. The body is clear borosilicate glass—thin-walled, light-transmitting, almost invisible when empty—and the handle is where the object reveals its character: a red chili pepper, a tapered carrot with bright green leaf tips, a miniature artichoke rendered in deep green. The figurative element is fully three-dimensional, formed in colored glass and fused to a slender clear rod that connects top and bottom of the handle bracket. Fill the mug and the colored figure appears to float inside your drink, magnified and distorted by the water and the curve of the glass wall. The ribbed teapot variant extends the logic further: vertical fluting catches and refracts light across its domed body, while a frosted white rabbit sits atop the lid as a finial and a carrot handle mirrors the mug's. These are objects that treat the handle—typically the most ignored element of a cup—as the entire point.
