Loyal Watch Clear Glass Cup and Saucer Set

A clear borosilicate glass cup and saucer set from Ichendorf Milano, each piece anchored by a miniature sculpted dog figure that appears to float or stand inside the transparent form. The cup is cylindrical with a loop handle; the saucer is a shallow oval dish with a low rim. Both pieces are cast from high-borosilicate glass, which renders the walls thin and optically clear. The small dog figurine — available as Corgi, Beagle, Dachshund, or Jack Russell Terrier — is fused to the base of the saucer or the interior floor of the cup and rendered in precise polychrome detail: the Corgi wears its signature white-and-amber coat, the Dachshund its deep chestnut brown. When liquid is poured into the cup, the water and glass layers produce a refraction effect that visually enlarges the figurine, making a small ornament read as a sculptural presence. The glass is produced without colorants or dyes; the material's natural clarity is its visual argument. Four breed variants are available, each sold as a cup-and-saucer set. The set sits at the boundary between functional drinkware and a collectible object: something that earns a permanent spot on a shelf even on days it is not used.
