Scribble Accent Clear Borosilicate Glass Tumbler

Six borosilicate glass tumblers, each a distinct sculptural proposition. The cylindrical form is deliberately neutral — a transparent stage for motifs that read more like drawings suspended in glass than decorations applied to a surface. Pink waves undulate across one vessel in continuous sine curves; light-blue rings coil upward in an ascending spiral; cobalt dots orbit a single horizontal band; red rings overlap in loose concentric tension; yellow rings drift in paired ellipses; clear curling tendrils suggest a plant reaching toward something just outside the frame. The colored glass elements are fused solid into the clear body — they cast no shadow, leave no residue, and shift their apparent weight depending on what liquid, if any, is present behind them. When the tumbler is filled, refraction amplifies the motif, making each element appear to float independently within the drink rather than on the glass wall. The body is thin-walled, highly transparent borosilicate with a faint blue-clear cast visible at the rim and base. Each piece sits as comfortably on a desk holding pencils as it does on a table holding water. The collection is best understood as a series of drawings that happen to be functional containers.
