Something I like to do when working on figures is making sure there is an intimate moment where you're looking into the figure and feeling like you're being seen by them.

Inspired by the short story of the same name, this piece studies the nuances of human consciousness through a paused moment. The sparrows are one through their opposition. As one stares presently, the other gazes forward. Together existing in a state of temporary actualization. Within this fleeting moment she, they, are enough.
