Garden Fable Tinted Glass Storage Vessel

A fruit bowl that refuses to hold fruit — except itself. These lidded glass vessels from the Ichendorf Milano Fruits and Flowers collection are sculpted into the precise silhouette of an apple, a pumpkin, or a pear, then rendered in translucent borosilicate glass in colors that sit uncannily close to the real thing: deep amber for the pumpkin, cool green for the apple, warm golden-yellow for the pear. Each piece is topped with a fitted lid and finished with a contrasting glass stem and leaf in a second color — the apple's stem is a dark amber-red capped with a flat golden leaf; the pumpkin's is a bent green tendril. Set them on a shelf and they read as sculptural objects. Place a real piece of fruit beside them and the deadpan logic of the series becomes apparent: the glass IS the fruit. The moon-variant lidded jars extend the collection into the more fantastical — a pink-bodied footed bonbonniere topped with a lilac crescent-moon finial, paired with a cobalt-blue vessel under an amber moon, both elevated on delicate pink glass pedestals. Across all variants the glass is thin-walled, light-catching, and transparent enough that the color shifts with whatever sits behind it. The collection is available in six variants: green apple, amber pumpkin, blue moon, pink moon, yellow pear, and polka dot green.
