Winter Fable Clear Glass Drinking Cup

A miniature world suspended in clear glass: each cup and jug from Ichendorf Milano's Christmas Tales collection holds a tiny three-dimensional figurine — Santa Claus standing at attention, a waddling penguin in a holiday cap, a decorated Christmas tree, a snowman under a glass-globe dome — mounted on a transparent inner stem so fine it disappears when the vessel is filled with liquid. The figurines appear to float, weightless, inside the water. The cylindrical cups are cast in high-clarity glass with a light, thin-walled profile that maximises light transmission and makes the saturated reds, greens, and oranges of each character read like stained-glass inclusions. The collection also includes a lidded jug whose periwinkle-blue conical stopper is crowned by a Santa figurine, and a globe-form vessel on a footed base that encases a snowman as though he were always inside a snow globe. Alongside the character cups are variants whose base figurines depict a wrapped gift box with ribbon, a holly wreath, and a green armchair — quieter ornamental notes within the same festive cast. The whole ensemble reads as a collectible series as much as a drinkware set: objects you arrange on a table not only to drink from but to look at.
