Animal Farm Clear Glass Drinkware Set

A clear glass pitcher and cup set that reads as much as sculpture as drinkware. Each vessel is formed in borosilicate glass — cylindrical beakers and bulbous globe-bodied pitchers in high-transparency material — with a miniature three-dimensional animal figurine fused to the interior base on a slender glass post. The figurine appears to hover or float once liquid is poured, an optical effect produced by the refractive index of water and glass overlapping. Handles on the pitchers are themselves sculptural: the squirrel variant carries a sinuous amber-red coiled tail as its handle; the fish variant uses an arching green reed form; the flamingo and peacock pitchers adopt tinted avian silhouettes. The collection spans at least ten animal characters — squirrel, snail, rabbit, turtle, fish, horse, duck, hedgehog, flamingo, peacock — each rendered in saturated, color-specific glass: cobalt-and-amber for the snail, amber-orange for the horse, pink for the rabbit and flamingo, green for the turtle, golden-amber for the hedgehog. The figurines are solid, not hollow, and the color is integral to the glass rather than applied as a surface coating, so the chromatic saturation reads from every angle. At table the effect is deadpan and slightly uncanny: a rearing amber horse stands inside a pitcher of water as though mid-stride through an invisible field, indifferent to being submerged.
