Meadow Hour Clear Glass Cup and Saucer

A clear glass cup and saucer set where the handle itself becomes a small sculptural world. Each variant carries a differently rendered nature motif — a red-orange stem crowned with a green sphere for the Apple, a sinuous green coil for the Strawberry, a leaf-and-stem arc in pale green for the Leaf, a teal handle tipped with a blue tulip form for the Bird, a gold-toned handle bearing amber and white glass beads for the Squirrel, and a lilac-handled Butterfly whose winged figurine alights on the saucer rim rather than the cup. The cylindrical borosilicate body is thin-walled and high-transmission, letting the amber of brewed tea or the deep gold of juice read through the glass with full clarity. Capacity is 100 ml, placing this squarely in espresso and short-pour territory — proportioned for a single concentrated serving rather than a long drink. The circular saucer is cast from the same clear glass and carries its own secondary figurine detail at the rim: a ladybug bead on the Apple saucer, a small butterfly on the Butterfly saucer, a yellow dot on the Snail saucer. The object sits at the boundary between a collectible specimen and a usable cup, and the photography treats it accordingly — two cups placed on a pale grey sweep alongside cannelés, the pastries requiring no explanation, the cups requiring none either.
