Six N. Five
Ezequiel Pini (b. 1985), the artist behind the captivating universe of Six N. Five, has garnered international acclaim for his pioneering use of 3D technology in creating immaculate and dreamlike worlds of digital art. With a masterful fusion of disciplines of art, photography, architecture, and design, Pini's work has been inspired by the intrinsic and mesmeric nature of our world. Hailing from Argentina and based in Barcelona, Pini's passion for computers and technology from a young age provided him with the foundation and tools to bring to life his unparalleled and breathtaking creations. In 2014, he founded Six N. Five, a studio whose name was inspired by the time of day (06:05pm) when work is done, and personal time is devoted to the expression of creativity.
I draw inspiration from everything around me: spaces, places, people, and their cultures. However, my greatest source of inspiration is undoubtedly nature and its intricate beauty. Over the years, I've tried to combine different disciplines to reinterpret this majesty, from architecture, landscaping to cinematography and different types of artistic mediums.
- Six N. Five
Six N. Five's signature style, with its hyper clean aesthetics and psychologically transportive world building, has cemented its position as a unique and pure form of artistic expression. The captivating worlds created by Pini transport us to a realm of pure imagination, where dreams are given life and colors take on a life of their own. From the early days, Pini has envisioned a future where his digital artworks continue toward being embraced and accepted as a legitimate tool for artistic expression, where the boundaries between physical and digital worlds dissolve into one. Pini and Six N. Five are now represented by Triple X exclusively, an organization founded by Derrick Li that specializes in digital art, and aims to be at the forefront of building and supporting new and sustainable digital art ecosystems.
TRLab Notes
In Memories of Tomorrow, Pini keeps exploring present themes in his work, such as time, light, reflections, nature and architecture as illusions that start from a reflected space or a reality generated with modern tools. Only by combining the physical and the digital worlds can each be complete.
