Glass Menagerie Clear Glass Tumbler

A clear glass tumbler that doubles as a miniature terrarium or aquarium, depending on which world you choose to live in. Inside the tapered cylindrical body, a sculptural glass figurine rises from the base — a saguaro cactus branching upward in deep green, a rounded cactus ball tipped with an amber flower, a tropical fish suspended mid-swim above a coral stem, or one of several woodland creatures including rabbit, squirrel, duck, hedgehog, snail, and turtle. The figurine is anchored by a slender glass rod that disappears into the liquid, creating the optical illusion of a floating creature or plant living inside your drink. The glass wall itself is thin and highly transparent, rendered in a light-refracting borosilicate-type clarity that allows the coloured sculpture to read with full chromatic intensity — amber-green cactus arms, cobalt fish bodies, pink rabbit forms — against whatever beverage fills the cup. As liquid rises, the scene transforms: a cactus becomes a desert oasis, a fish finds its reef. The tumbler is quiet from the outside and surprising from the inside.
