Wildwood Clear Glass Teapot

A glass teapot that refuses to be merely functional. The ribbed, bulbous body rises in vertical flutes that catch and scatter light across any surface it touches, while the borosilicate clarity lets the brew inside perform its own color show — pale gold tea, deep amber steeps, or blush herbal infusions all visible in full. Each variant in the collection carries a sculptural flourish that tips it from tableware into object: a snail coiled atop the lid as if it arrived there of its own accord, twin bee figures orbiting the lower body of the rounder globe form, a butterfly alighting mid-handle, or a spray of amber glass flowers branching from a green stem handle. The leaf-knob lid variant — two tones of glass leaf, one green and one pale gold, sprouting from the lid center — is the quietest version, and still entirely strange. Dimensions vary by variant: the leaf-and-amber-handle teapot measures 14 cm wide by 16 cm tall; the snail-and-flower-handle teapot reaches 12 cm wide by 19.5 cm tall. The whole Ichendorf Milano collection this belongs to — Greenwood, Botanica, the animal-figure drinkware series — treats the glass object as a terrarium for miniature worlds. Pour something into it and watch what the liquid and the glass do to each other.
