Curiosity Cabinet Clear Borosilicate Glass Drinkware

A drinking glass that doubles as a sculptural specimen. Each piece in the Ichendorf collection is formed from clear borosilicate glass with a miniature 3D figurine — a stacked cactus, a tropical fish weaving through coral, a lily-of-the-valley stem, a tiny farmyard creature — fused directly into the stem or base. The figurine sits inside the glass wall like something preserved in amber: visible from every angle, optically magnified when liquid fills the vessel, utterly still. Four series cover distinct natural territories: Desert Plants renders prickly-pear cacti in orange, teal, pink, and blue; Marine Garden plants vivid reef fish against green seaweed stems; Botanica wraps ribbed, petal-edged bowls and flutes around arching green stems hung with white or lilac florets; Animal Farm tucks rabbits, snails, hedgehogs, turtles, and ducks into stemless tumblers and round pitchers. The borosilicate construction keeps the walls thin and highly transparent, letting the colored figurines read with jewel-like clarity against whatever is being poured.
