ichendorf-dog-figurine-glassware-f1p4st8p
Loyal Watch Clear Glass Cup and Saucer Set

Description

A clear borosilicate glass cup and saucer set from Ichendorf Milano, each piece anchored by a miniature sculpted dog figure that appears to float or stand inside the transparent form. The cup is cylindrical with a loop handle; the saucer is a shallow oval dish with a low rim. Both pieces are cast from high-borosilicate glass, which renders the walls thin and optically clear. The small dog figurine — available as Corgi, Beagle, Dachshund, or Jack Russell Terrier — is fused to the base of the saucer or the interior floor of the cup and rendered in precise polychrome detail: the Corgi wears its signature white-and-amber coat, the Dachshund its deep chestnut brown. When liquid is poured into the cup, the water and glass layers produce a refraction effect that visually enlarges the figurine, making a small ornament read as a sculptural presence. The glass is produced without colorants or dyes; the material's natural clarity is its visual argument. Four breed variants are available, each sold as a cup-and-saucer set. The set sits at the boundary between functional drinkware and a collectible object: something that earns a permanent spot on a shelf even on days it is not used.

Inspiration

A glass saucer that comes with its own permanent companion.

Instead of a standard pattern, this set features a miniature glass dog sculpted directly onto the saucer, standing guard right beside your cup.

The clear, thin glass keeps the focus on the tiny, colorful figure, making it look as though the pup is waiting for a stray crumb from a biscuit or bagel.

Highlights

Miniature dog figurine — Corgi, Beagle, Dachshund, or Jack Russell Terrier — fused inside the glass, appearing to float when liquid is added due to refractive magnification

Thin-walled borosilicate glass construction; no dyes or colorants added — the material's transparency is the finish

Cylindrical cup with loop handle pairs with a shallow oval saucer, each figurine positioned so it faces outward toward the viewer

Polychrome figurine detail is legible from across a table: the Corgi's amber ears, the Dachshund's chestnut spine, the Jack Russell's black-and-white saddle marking

Rated for use between 0°C and 100°C; oven use is not suitable — check care guidance before use

Four breed variants available as individual sets, making them collectible across the full Dogs series

Notices

Not suitable for oven use.
